Caramel Corn ~ by request

Mrs. Hackney’s Unbelievably AMAZING Caramel Corn

1.  Prepare a large roasting pan with vegetable spray & add one bag of Chester’s Puff Corn

2.  In a heavy sauce pan, add:

1 cup of brown sugar

1 cup of white sugar

1 cup of light corn syrup

1 cup of butter

3.  Boil for about 5-7 minutes (soft ball stage)

4.  Add 1 tsp. of baking soda  (When you add the baking soda, the mixture is going to get foamy and change color – don’t panic)

5.  Pour over Chester’s PuffCorn (available in the market near the Cheeto’s) and stir until well coated

6.  Place in 250 degree oven for fifteen minutes and stir again.  Repeat this three times.

7.  Let cool and store in airtight container
